Hello!

I’m Nicola Watson, a digital/motion and print designer currently based in the North East of Scotland. I have over fifteen years experience in the industry in various guises. I’m currently freelancing, and lecturing in visual communication design, and my most recent work was a 6 month broadcast project with Japan’s NHK TV.

Alongside commercial/teaching work I like exploring interactive design, animation, and visual psychology. I’m also intrigued by Japan; the culture, design, language and fashion – and my personal work often reflects this.

I studied Design for Digital Media at Gray’s School of Art, and went on to Duncan of Jordanstone to study an MSc in Electronic Imaging. My vocation experience has included various design disciplines, for studios, freelance and as an in-house designer. In my free time I enjoy illustrating and creating self initiated projects.
